Serial Killers - Gary Ridgway (The Green River Killer)

Gary Ridgway was a truck painter who confessed to killing 71 women from 1982 to 2000. He was the United States most prolific serial killer and was also known as The Green River Killer. He almost exclusively targeted escorts from Seattle. Once there, he would proposition a prostitute, drive to the banks of the Green River, and strangle her to death. After murdering his victim he would dump her body near the nearby water. Suspected of killing over 90 victims, confessed to 71, convicted of 49.

Serial Killers - Luis Garavito (The Beast)

Luis Alfredo Garavito Cubillos is a Colombian rapist and serial killer. In 1999, he admitted to the rape and murder of 147 young boys. The number of his victims, based on the locations of skeletons listed on maps that Garavito drew in prison, could eventually exceed 300. He has been described as "the world's worst serial killer" because of the high number of victims.

Serial Killers - Pedro Alonso Lopez (The Monster of the Andes)

Pedro Alonso Lopez is a child-murderer and rapist, known as "The Monster of the Andes". He targeted young girls, between the ages of 8 and 12. Arrested in 1980 and convicted in 1983 of killing 110 young girls but confessed to killing 300, exact total unknown. Though he may be the most prolific serial killer of the 20th century, he was released in 1998. Current whereabouts unknown.

Serial Killers - Andrei Chikatilo (Butcher of Rostov)

Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo was a Soviet serial killer, nicknamed The Butcher of Rostov, The Red Ripper, and The Rostov Ripper, who committed the sexual assault, murder and mutilation of a minimum of 52 women and children between 1978 and 1990 in the Russian SFSR. Chikatilo confessed to a total of 56 murders and was tried for 53 of these killings in April 1992.

Serial Killers - Anatoly Onoprienko (The Terminator)

Anatoly Yuriyovych Onoprienko is a Ukrainian serial killer. He is also known by the nicknames "The Beast of Ukraine", "The Terminator", and "Citizen O". After police arrested the 37-year-old former forestry student on April 16, 1996, Onoprienko confessed to killing 52 people.
